1986
Our very first outing to Weston started in 1986.
The original players were Alf Daniel, Peter Poulton, Dave Stockwin and Dennis Sword.
On Monday 22nd September 1986 we played Brean GC and on Tuesday we played Burnham & Berrow GC.
We stayed in Peters’ caravan.

 
1987
No Trip to Weston.
 
1988
Alf, Peter, Dave and Dennis.
Brean GC on Thursday 6th October in gale force wind.
On the 7th October we played Burnham & Berrow GC in a hurricane.
 

1989
Alf, Peter, Dave, Dennis, Dean Kimberly and Harold Breakwell.
Worlebury GC on 21st September.
Am: Texas Scramble, Peter & Dennis beat Alf & Dave by 1 hole.
Pm: Matchplay, Alf & Dave beat Peter & Dennis 2&1.

Weston-Super-Mere GC on the 22nd September.
Am: Combined Stableford, Dave & Dennis beat Alf + Peter.
Pm: Combined Stableford, Dave & Peter beat Alf + Dennis.
Peter fell in the shower, cutting his elbow. Alf took his to hospital.

Dennis hit a ball over the clubhouse on the tenth hole and went looking for the ball in the car park.

Am: 9 holes, practise.
Pm: Texas Scramble, Dennis & G1 beat Alf & Oz.

Clevedon GC on the 12th July.
Am: 9 holes, practise. Alf had too much to drink the night before. He played 4 holes : n/r,7,7,7 then went to the shower.
Ian had two stakes the night before, over 14 pints, two hot dogs and a burger. He then had a curry main meal and a patty main meal for his lunch and a couple of pints to wash it down.

Pm: Stableford, Dennis won (32pts better back nine). Alf & G1joint second (32pts).
